About Our Program
A supportive place for recovery and stability
Sober living housing in the Van Buren area
Paw Paw Recovery Housing is starting sober living housing in the Van Buren area, as close to Paw Paw as possible. To start, housing will be for men only, with the hope of adding more houses later, including for women. A house is still being secured, so no address or house details are listed yet.
Structure and accountability
Residents live in a recovery-focused home built around structure and accountability:
- Daily and weekly routine, including house meetings, chores, and curfew
- Drug and alcohol testing at least twice a week
- Work or volunteering when able, along with attending treatment and meetings
- A house manager living on site, with staff check-ins
Stays, insurance, and cost
Stays are up to 18 months. Insurance is accepted. Cost is still to be confirmed.
Who can apply
Anyone in recovery, age 18 and over — no minors. Referrals from treatment or court are welcome, but not required.
How to get started
Call (219) 614-3282, email janet@pawpawrecoverhousing.org, or come through a treatment or court referral. There is no waitlist right now.
